www.HamburgerSchule.de, by presenting Witte-Astrology material in English, serves to help English-speakers relate to
Alfred Witte's innovative astrological work. 'Who's who' in that on-going story will be included along with a forum for questions plus examples, illustrations and comments on the practical application of ”Witte
techniques”. His work is usually called (translated): ”Astrology of the Hamburg School” in German-speaking countries and
”Uranian Astrology” in US and other English-speaking lands.
The ”Uranian” label reflects the Witte work's innate harmony with the in-streaming Aquarian Age and its individualistic ruler, Uranus. 'Uranian' seems an elegant English
adjective, as in Uranian astrologers work with Witte concepts, formulas, techniques and the integrity of those is honored, modeled and refined by ”Hamburg School of Astrology”. For truth-in-history and brevity, we will
use ”Witte Astrology” as common-ground term. In 'Hamburgean'
perspective, fixed-sign ages allow astrology to flourish. Witte Astrology, well-equipped to deal with the new age's fast-paced, high-tech complexities, is at the incipient root of such anticipated flourishing.
The preceding in-German section is by Udo Rudolph, son of one of
Hamburg School's 'Three Pioneers' and Witte's closest collaborator. The format here parallels that model. Actual content of this in-English section is personal responsibility of the writer. Some of his own copyrighted
astrological/historical material is included. He thanks Astrologische Studiengesellschaft Hamburger Schule e.V., for providing coherent internet access. Sketchy sections in here are to be augmented gradually, partly in
response to interest shown. Welcome aboard!H. C. Grymz, Nov. 30, 2000 |
